the Art WAVE

the Art WAVE

with No Comments

An art wave does not move the viewer only the art wave, an art wave is a force separate from the viewer, the viewer like water, simply is affected then resumes being a viewer, not moved.  Art will occur and become great, not all that see it will be affected in it’s path, but the wave the Art creates will move and become great, lasting generations but never being fully embraced.  We are beings of a niche, no one thing is fully embraced but everyone things are loved by niche groups, only after they were ridiculed hated and scoffed, dismissed, rendered foolish or ignored.  Great Art waves cannot be ignored, massive and magnificent as they are, but the world needs many Art waves, some unique, some not for everyone.  Let your Art wave roll, move over the sea of souls, you may live to see its greatness you may not, but do not despair, it is not the ones closest to you who will make your Art wave great, but a power beyond them or your imagination. If it is to be it will be, your effort and energy and hard work will empower your wave to it’s rightful place. Many great artist made huge waves for a while in their lives only to be dismissed in their old age,or after they have passed, and some never saw a trickle of the greatness that would follow them.  The force of our work will be determined not by our contemporaries, but the future movement of the Art wave it creates. Those who love and embrace your work are in the movement that will follow.  Your work is all that is important, believe in it, not for profit but the wave that will follow it, maybe in your lifetime maybe not.  Art is a reward for the artist and accomplishment here and now, material, tangible,an experience, tradeable and ready for benefiting the creator.   You may never know the real value of your work, but know this,it is a wave and will build it’s own swelling of collectors that may well sweep you up in an exciting journey, or just satisfy your need to create it.  Keep painting stacking the  work, it’s value will be assessed by it’s collectors, those who get it.  We are creators of Art, and we work in a niche, it has been developed from our personal culture, and it must be like a great wine or cheese that ferments to the taste of the world.  To believe in your Art, is to do it and covet it’s value.
